Hon. Oladiran Alabi has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, on the occasion of his 82nd birthday and first anniversary of his coronation as the Olubadan of Ibadanland, celebrating the monarch for his enduring commitment to the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State.
In a congratulatory message, Alabi described the occasion as a double celebration of a remarkable life of service and a year of traditional leadership. He noted that, despite being 82, Oba Ladoja has continued to demonstrate energy, wisdom and dedication to the progress of Ibadanland, contributing his wealth of experience to issues affecting the people and the wider development of Oyo State.
Alabi particularly commended the monarch for his continued interest in the growth and advancement of Ibadanland, stressing that his contributions have shown that age is not a barrier to meaningful service to humanity. He said the Olubadan’s experience in public service, governance and community affairs remains a valuable asset to the people of Ibadan and Oyo State.
He further described Oba Ladoja as a father figure whose position cuts across political, religious and social divides, calling on the people of Ibadanland to continue to respect and support the traditional institution under his leadership.
“Today is indeed a special day as we celebrate Baba on his 82nd birthday and also mark one year of his reign as the Olubadan of Ibadanland. Even at 82, Baba continues to bring development, wisdom and valuable contributions to Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.
“On behalf of myself, and my family, I warmly celebrate His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja. May Almighty God continue to grant Kabiyesi good health, wisdom, strength and many more fruitful years on the throne,” Alabi stated.
