As Muslims across Nigeria and the world celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, prominent chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Hon. Oladiran Alabi, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithfuls, urging them to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, love, peace, and unity which the season symbolizes.
In his Eid-el-Kabir message released to the media, Hon. Alabi described the festival as a sacred period that reminds humanity of total obedience to God, compassion for one another, and commitment to nation-building.
He noted that the significance of Eid-el-Kabir goes beyond merriment, stressing that the celebration should inspire Nigerians to support one another, especially in the face of current economic and social challenges confronting the nation.
According to him, “Eid-el-Kabir teaches us the importance of sacrifice, patience, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah. This season should strengthen our commitment to peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding, and collective progress as a people.”
Hon. Alabi also called on Nigerians to continue praying for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country, while encouraging leaders at all levels to remain committed to policies and initiatives that will improve the welfare of the people.
He further appealed to Muslim faithfuls to extend love and kindness to the less privileged during the celebration, emphasizing that acts of charity and compassion remain central to the teachings of Islam.
Hon. Oladiran concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyous, peaceful, and fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration, praying that Almighty Allah accepts their sacrifices and showers abundant blessings upon every home.
“May this blessed celebration bring peace, happiness, and renewed hope to every family. Eid Mubarak,” he stated.
