2027: Senator Alli Rallies Òkè-Ogun Stakeholders, Unveils Vision for a Greater Oyo

As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, has intensified consultations with key stakeholders across Oyo State, holding a strategic engagement with leaders and stakeholders from the Òkè-Ogun zone in Iseyin.

The meeting, which attracted prominent political figures, community leaders, party elders, opinion moulders, and grassroots mobilizers from across the region, focused on strengthening party unity, deepening political alliances, and charting a collective path toward the development of Òkè-Ogun and Oyo State as a whole.

Addressing participants at the gathering, Senator Alli emphasized the importance of inclusiveness, collaboration, and grassroots participation in governance, noting that sustainable development can only be achieved when the voices of the people are heard and reflected in government policies and programmes.

The APC flagbearer used the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders, listening to their concerns, aspirations, and recommendations on critical issues affecting the region, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and economic growth.

He assured the stakeholders of his commitment to equitable development across all geopolitical zones of the state, stressing that no part of Oyo State would be left behind under his administration.

Senator Alli further called for unity among party members and supporters, urging them to remain steadfast in their support for the APC while working collectively to expand the party’s reach ahead of the next election cycle.

Stakeholders at the meeting expressed appreciation for the consultation, describing it as a demonstration of responsive leadership and a clear indication of the candidate’s willingness to engage with the people at the grassroots level.

Political observers believe the engagement forms part of broader efforts by Senator Alli to consolidate support across key voting blocs and strengthen the APC’s position as preparations for the 2027 governorship election continue to unfold.

The meeting concluded with renewed commitments from stakeholders to work together in advancing the development of Òkè-Ogun and ensuring the continued growth of the APC across the state.
