The Chairman of the Oyo APC UK Caucus Chapter, Hon. Adebayo Amusat- Gbenla, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithfuls across Oyo State, Nigeria, and the diaspora on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
In his Eid message made available to newsmen on Wednesday, Hon. Gbenla described the festival as a sacred period of sacrifice, obedience, love, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, urging Muslims to uphold the timeless values exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
He noted that Eid-el-Kabir serves as a reminder of the importance of faith, tolerance, compassion, and selflessness in building a peaceful and progressive society.
According to him, “As we celebrate this holy season of Eid-el-Kabir, I rejoice with all Muslim faithfuls at home and abroad. May this celebration bring peace, divine blessings, renewed strength, and abundant joy to every household.”
The APC chieftain further encouraged Nigerians not to lose hope despite the present economic and social challenges facing the country, stressing that unity, perseverance, and collective responsibility remain essential in achieving national growth and stability.
Hon. Gbenla also called on citizens to continue praying for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, while urging political leaders at all levels to remain committed to good governance and people-oriented leadership.
He wished all Muslim faithfuls a peaceful, joyful, and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
